Ashwin Muthiah’s philanthropic interests include directorships of trusts and foundations in India promoting primary healthcare, education, music, literature and sports. He is Consul General Ad Honorum of The Republic of Philippines in Chennai, India.

Mr Muthiah has served as a Board Member of the Singapre Economic Development Board.

Ashwin Muthiah holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Philadelphia University, USA, and a Bachelor Degree in Commerce from Loyola College, University of Madras, India.

Ashwin Muthiah is a permanent resident of Singapore. He's married to Valli; daughters Devaki and Alagu study in Singapore.
